    • No referral needed! South Carolina is a direct access state, which means you can see a physical therapist and start treatment right away - no physicians referral required - for up to 30 days.

    • At Harbinger PT we have made the intentional decision to not work with insurance companies. This lets us focus entirely on your needs - with one - on - one, hour long sessions that deliver higher quality care and faster, more effective results compared to traditional insurance based clinics.

    • Absolutely, we are a healthcare service and we accept Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts, as well as all major credit cards, checks, and cash.

    • We are fitness enthusiasts, that use techniques grounded in evidence, that are personalized specifically to meet your goals.

    • We are based in ISI Elite Fitness which allows us to prepare you for the sports and activities that you want to return to pain free.

    • We practice what we preach. We lift weights, run and workout alongside our members. Our team is credentialed in strength training, weightlifting, and have sport specific backgrounds in running.

    • Each plan of care revolves around your goals and needs. You and your therapist work as a team to return you to the activities that you love as fast as possible.

    • Your first session starts with an in depth conversation with your Doctor of Physical Therapy. We’ll discuss your injury, pain, or limitations, your activity background, and any questions or concerns that you may have.

    • Next, we’ll perform a comprehensive movement assessment to identify the root causes of the issue - not just the symptoms. You’ll walk away with a clear understanding of what’s going on and exactly how we plan to fix it, together.

    • From there, we’ll create a personalized plan designed to get you back to doing what you love-stronger, pain-free, and more confident in your movement.

    • Please come dressed in clothing that is appropriate for movement or working out. Since you’ll be actively moving during your session, it’s important to wear something that you feel comfortable in and won’t restrict your range of motion.

    • The number of visits depends on the severity of your condition, your movement limitations, and the goals you’re working towards.

    • After your initial evaluations and movement assessment, we’ll have a clear idea of what your recovery timeline will look like. Most clients who achieve lasting results typically come in for 8-15 sessions. This allows us to not only eliminate the pain, but also address the root cause and build a long-term solution to keep the issue from coming back.

    • We respect your time and trust that you’ll stay consistent with your program outside of the clinic. This approach allows us to space out your visits while still making meaningful progress-often getting you back to your goals even faster.

    • Most of our patients are seen once per week, which provides the right balance of guidance, accountability, and independence for the best and fastest results.

    • Once our clients reach their initial goals, many choose to continue working with us through performance training. This proactive approach focuses on optimizing movement, building strength and supporting long-term health and wellness-helping you not only recover, but perform at your best.
